Brüder Coffee

Klerksdorp, North West·Est. 2018·Best Festival Booth 2026

The Garage-Born Roastery

Brüder Coffee was started in a garage by Pieter and Maryke Schoonwinkel, a married couple who fell for coffee, named the company after the brothers-in-law who got them into it, and have spent the last six years building one of the most interesting specialty coffee operations in the North West province.

The name Brüder is German for "brothers." Today they roast, train, supply equipment, design menus, run events, and even repair machines. They put on what was, hands down, the best booth at Jo'burg Coffee Festival 2026.
